Emily Barr – I am a mother of 4 daughters and three sons, living in a small moshav in Israel. I have worked with children for more than two decades, started as a special education teacher and then opened a private clinic, empowering children with learning disabilities in math and reading.

Claire Freeman – I am a single mum of one daughter and two boys, living in London. Previously, I was a Torah educator and mentor for a Jewish outreach organization, teaching young women practical ways to implement Torah wisdom into their lives. I have also been working as an Intuitive Healer for over 18 years. I have been supporting children and adults in emotional pain through the practices of EFT, Matrix Re-imprinting, Color & Light, The Emotion Code, The Body Code, Family Constellations Therapy, Meditation, Breathwork and Sound Healing. My mission in life is to endow girls with a sense of self-love and acceptance, in order for them to be their best selves.

Testimonials

My daughter did a couple of lessons at our local shul and refused to go back. We discovered Bar Mitzvah Bliss and after one lesson Maisie said, “Mum, I didn’t realise the Torah could even teach me anything!” The D’var Torah was a hit! There was pin drop silence in the shul.

My daughter didn’t want any lessons, she hates Jewish Studies. But Claire knows how to talk to young girls. Her lessons were so inspiring that my daughter would come home and chat excitedly about everything she learnt! I was shocked.... We also loved the D’var Torah that she wrote.

Claire wrote a beautiful moving D’var Torah based on meeting my daughter and relating it to the Parsha. Claire totally got my daughter and managed to capture her personality perfectly. We had so many compliments after her D’var Torah telling us how beautifully written and interesting it was.

The lessons on friendship, confidence, and self-discovery were particularly enlightening for her, providing practical insights that resonate beyond the ceremony. I highly recommend Bat Mitzvah Bliss to any parent seeking a meaningful and transformative experience for their daughter's journey into Jewish womanhood.
